Shed 4 Commercial Development, Mapua Wharf

NCE provided full engineering support for this key project for TDC, now completed.  

Our scope included geotechnical and structural engineering design for the necessary liquefaction mitigation measures, foundation, building structure, and stormwater designs.  Besides the ground improvement measures, the floor level was raised to allow for sea level rise.  The structure is framed entirely of locally grown Douglas fir and macrocarpa timbers, and features custom designed trusses.
